Meeting between Dubai Maritime City Authority and PWC operators to address best practices
Dubai Maritime City Authority (DMCA) and personal watercraft (PWC) operators have met to discuss ways of improving maritime safety in line with best practices in water. The initiative is part of DMCA’s scheme to promote comprehensive understanding of requirements of the private sector.
“We are pleased to meet representatives of PWC companies and agencies in Dubai to discuss key issues affecting water sports activities in Dubai, mainly the allocation of areas for the use of PWC, according to the highest standards of safety, as well as facilitating and accelerating the registration process of PWC in showrooms, and other important topics,” says Amer Ali, CEO of Dubai Maritime City Authority.
The DMCA is a government entity in-charge of regulating and supervising all aspects of the maritime sector in Dubai.
